ABOUT STAVROS
Professional Ski Instructor in Zermatt
My name is Stavros Mytilios, a Greek ski instructor and sports professional based in Zermatt, Switzerland.
Skiing has been part of my life since I was nine years old. Growing up in Volos, Greece, I started with cross-country skiing and went on to compete at an elite level as a member of the Greek national endurance ski team, achieving distinctions at the national and Balkan level and gaining international race experience.
I studied Physical Education and Sports Science at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specialising in skiing, and later completed an MSc in Exercise & Health at the University of Thessaly. I am also an ISIA-qualified ski instructor and a certified personal trainer.
Since 2022, I have been teaching alpine skiing in Zermatt with Supreme Ski & Snowboard School, working with skiers of different ages and abilities. My approach combines technical knowledge, sports science, and practical experience with a friendly and relaxed teaching style.
For me, a great ski lesson is not only about technique. It is about building confidence, understanding the mountain and helping each skier enjoy the experience.
Whether you are taking your first turns, looking to improve your technique, or simply want to explore Zermatt with greater confidence, my goal is to make every day on the mountain safe, enjoyable, and memorable.
MY APPROACH
Technique. Confidence. Enjoyment.
Every skier is different. I adapt each lesson to your experience, goals and pace, focusing on practical improvements that you can immediately feel on the snow.
My philosophy is simple:
“Control your skis. Don’t let your skis control you.” supremeski.com
